Description

HEAVEN ON EARTH
Matthew 6
In the moment of their awakening, disciples of Christ are preparing to serve humanity. The principles presenting the Acts of Righteousness are written in Matthew 6, the continuation of the Sermon on the Mount: * Exploits while giving charitable gifts, speaking, and repeating prayers before open crowds. At the same time, God does not get the glory. *Teaching others that faith in God is security when you place them in his hand. *Seek God first for the things you need and for others. * God provides through faith and trusts in him things you need when you fast and pray. *When situations occur, our heavenly father knows your worth; beyond the tall trees and blue sky. *Destined to serve, from a clean heart meaning not to judge others or worry about your outward appearance. The disciples for Christ are members of the high Priest with honors and truth ministering through Matthew 6’s and 7: 1-12: Scriptures, Almsgiving, Prayer, Fasting, Treasurers in Heaven, Judging, Hypocrisy, Worry, and enlightened by definitions, discussions, and applications.
This book provides additional resources, scriptures, maps, images, truths, and supported knowledge and wisdom on each topic to fulfill the mission outlined in Matthew 6. All in one place.

Why This Book?
Matthew is a continuation of the Sermon on the Mount. God’s teachings demonstrate: (1) His love and patience for all. (2) A change of heart is to do what is right before God and man. (3) The work of the Master is fulfilled by established kingdom workers. (4) Christians are chosen to be earthly ambassadors. God guides us through our many thoughts and acts of obedience. We must trust God for all things.
Matthew highlights the seven principles for the Acts of Righteousness of God: Almsgiving, Prayer, Fasting, Heavenly Treasures, Worry, Judging and Hypocrisy. The reader will receive a commentary teaching of facts relating to each act through terms, applications, maps, images of practical living, and discussions. The characteristics outlined in Matthew 6 are how Christians should demonstrate spiritual affection toward humanity.
This quick layout for Matthew 6 presents the quality of information with visual aids to introduce the history and events of both heaven and earth. God’s expectation of human kindness draws from understanding and coverage,
Matthew 6, 7:1-12 speaks on Christian principles and services for a community of people. Most importantly, the Holy Spirit leads and teaches us much from the scripture that unpacks God’s love for humankind.

INTRODUCTION
Matthews covers the latter half of the first century A.D. (after Christ), years 40-70. The history speaks about the diverse, dynamic, and cultural background of Jesus and the early Christians. Matthew’s writing includes the language of all cultures, explaining the life-changing provision of this arrangement in their languages and documentation: (1). The cultural legacy of the deposed Greek Empire (2). The dominant Roman Empire (3). The scattered Jewish communities, and (4). The many local cultures and religions which create a challenging context for the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The history of Matthew 6 begins near Palestine in Jesus’ time. Palestine has several districts stretching 140 miles long. The distance north reaches twenty-three miles from the sea, while the south is roughly 80 miles. Of course, Jesus’ day was only a tiny mote in the vastness of the Roman Empire.
Members of Herod the Great, the ruler at the time of Jesus’s birth, held positions of authority in Palestine. The Jewish Sanhedrin exercised, superiority over the Jewish population, administering and enforcing the Old Testament Law.
The author of this Gospel was a disciple of Christ called Levi, a tax collector. Jesus explained that his call for sinners to repent is love through subsequent events launching out of the New Testament. Jesus forgives all sinners. Tax collectors had to bid for their positions and profit by extorting alms from their less fortunate.
Matthew was writing to the Jewish leader. He naturally begins by emphasizing Jewish parentage. He had to remind them that the messianic promises made to David’s line might be fulfilled in Jesus. (Gen 12:3; 13:15; 22:18) Son of Abraham’s fulfillment of the covenant.
Matthew launches our New Testament. The moral teaching of Jesus traces Jesus’ human ancestry back to Abraham through David’s offspring, who were promised an eternal throne. Matthew’s event is in harmony with the Old Testament writing of the promised Messiah. Jesus is a King, not like modern-day Kings, rulers, authors, or power, but his Kingship is to suffer and serve. He is the coming Messiah of the Old Testament.
The location for his message: The Sermon on the Mount is in Galilee. The message identifies true worshipers and their character when they express: almsgiving, praying, fasting, giving treasures, and worrying. (Two additional characters; hypocrisy and judging, are found in Matthew 7). Near Galilee, the surrounding districts were Nazareth, Capernaum, Cana, and Bethsaida. These cities were associated with each Ministry of Jesus. This book will outline each distinct area of the message and how they, if linked, become the indwelling Spirit of worshipers, and create the newness of Christ in one’s mind and soul, in obedience to the Father.
The purpose of writing this book, Matthew 6, is for the reader to reflect on Jesus’ reason for coming to earth. That reason is to do what no one can do. He came to redeem man back to God for eternal life. It was an exchange of his life for man. For every soul he saved, became earthly Christians, growing and developing into people of God, and responding to the necessity for the establishment of earthly Kingdoms. We are disciples that have been chosen to move through earth preaching, teaching and, living based on God’s Word. God’s, Plan for Salvation, included simple steps for man: to repent, accept Jesus Christ as Savior, be baptized for the redemption of their sins. The believers shall study the Word of Truth, and live to be transformed into earthly kingdom worshippers.
The reader should have a clear picture and understanding of the scriptures as they shape the individual’s mind and heart on earthly Kingdom building for God. We accept the call and reference what it meant in Matthew 16: 13-20. Jesus asked his disciples: “Whom do the people say I am?” Peter states that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the living God. Christ acknowledged that it is true, but that he did not establish this knowledge alone, but by his heavenly Father.
Lastly, we are to be led by Christ and the Holy Spirit to: keep peace on earth, develop a Spirit of God and, a divine Christian character like Christ, and seek the Kingdom of Heaven for the things that we require. We live to receive the Authentic Authority and Power from Heaven to Earth that God’s kingdom on earth is here for all those who chose the plan of salvation. We are then new creatures in Christ Jesus.

CHAPTER 1
Jesus’ Order for Almsgiving
SCRIPTURES: Matthew 6: 1-4 Giving to the Needy
1
Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise, ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2
Therefore, when thou does thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.
3
But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
4
That thine alms may be in secret: and thy father which seeth in secret himself shall reward the openly.

Terms Alms-giving the noun is (in historical or religious contexts) the practice of giving money or food to poor people. The fashion on how they showed their compassion is by: “benevolence in the form of almsgiving was encouraged”
BENEFICENCE. If there be a poor among you within your short distance or neighborhood, thy shall not harden thy heart, nor shut thy hands from those in need. Open thine hand wide unto the poor and shalt surely lend them sufficient for their need to bless them for what he wanted. Think not of a wicked heart that you would wait until the year of release, the Seventh Year letting your eyes become against the poor and give him nothing; when he cries out, to the Lord, against you, then it becomes a sin against you. When thy give to the poor, do not give with a grievous heart. God will bless your free giving and will return good blessings for all that you do.
Blessed is he that has compassion
