the way to hear gods Each desires to learn how to hear the voice of god. I mean, if we could hear God completely we would be making the right choices all the time? Maybe not! The church teems with individuals who claim to hear God's voice. They say it so confidently, "God told me to do this," just to find that a week later on, a God informs them to do the exact opposite. The Bible says Numbers 23:19 God is not human, that he should lie, not a human, that he must alter his mind. Does he speak and after that not act? Does he promise and not fulfil? Individuals claim to hear God, however are they really hearing Him? Can anyone actually know the best ways to hear the voice of God and God's will for their life? I suggest, how do you hear the voice of God, and if you can even hear Him, how do you know it's Him and not some other voice? Well I have better news for you my good friend ... God wishes to speak with us, and yes, you can 'know' that you hear His voice. GOD WANTS TO SPEAK TO YOU AND TO LEAD YOU! How do you being familiar with God? How do you get to understand anybody for that matter? The easiest way is to talk, and talking is a two method street, it is a discussion not a monologue. True relationship is hard unless there is discussion. This means one speaks and the other listens, we speak, God listens, and God speaks, we listen. WHO IS SPEAKING?

If God is going to speak with you, you need three things ... 1. Hearing 2. Discerning 3. Obeying So let's start with the first one, hearing the voice of God 1. HEARING

Individuals hear voices all the time. Mostly it is not God. Apart from a few magnificent examples, nearly always in important situations, the Holy Spirit of God speaks with the still, small voice. Not the incredible! 1 Kings 19:11 -12. The Lord said, "Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord will pass by.". Then a great and effective wind tore the mountains apart and ruined the rocks prior to the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. God usually speaks as a mild whisper, the still small voice in your heart. Can you hear Him? Can you acknowledge Him? Psalm 46:10. Be still, and understand that I am God. Here's things, our biggest problem is that we most typically are not even listening. Commonly we do not actually stop and ask God, we simply blaze away doing what we believe God desires us to do, and then asking Him to bless us! We choose exactly what we wish to do, and basically ask God to rubber mark the outcome. We do what we wish to do, and really often we are not listening at all! We will hold on to a verse like this and act first ... Proverbs 16:3. Dedicate to the Lord whatever you do, and he will certainly develop your strategies. However we have to realise that this is NOT God letting us run riot and asking His blessing after the reality. This is not what God wants us to do at all. Pay attention to the amplified variation of the exact same verse ... "Roll your works upon the Lord [dedicate and trust them completely to Him; He will trigger your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] Shall your plans be established and prosper" (Proverbs 16:3 Amplified Bible).

When we submit ourselves to God our thoughts begin to line up with His, and we can learn how to more clearly hear God talking to us. The thing is, the more you know God, the more you will hear God. In Isaiah 29-31 the prophet is prophesying to the nation of Judah. Israel and Judah were being assaulted by the Assyrians, and Judah, instead of counting on The Lord stressed and relied on Egypt for security and to purchase chariots and horses ... Therefore The Lord said ... Isaiah 29:15 -16. 15 Woe to those who go to great depths. to conceal their strategies from the Lord,. who do their work in darkness and believe,. "Who sees us? Who will understand?". You turn things upside down,. as if the potter were believed to resemble the clay! Shall exactly what is formed state to the one who formed it,. "You did not make me"? Can the pot say to the potter,. "You understand absolutely nothing"?

Can you truthfully count on God and state, "Lord, I know ways to do this, stand aside and let me do it for You! Oh, and You 'd better bless it also please!". "What was that Lord, I thought you said something ... Oh well, never mind, send me an e-mail.". But, just a couple of verses later on, God says this ... Isaiah 30:15. This is exactly what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says:. "In repentance and rest is your redemption,. in tranquility and trust is your strength,. however you would have none of it. We make our strategies, we ask God to bless them, and if He aims to speak with us, we decline it as being too negative ... Isaiah 30:9 -11. For these are defiant individuals, deceiving children,. children unwilling to listen to the Lord's direction. They state to the seers,. "See say goodbye to visions!". and to the prophets,.

"Give us say goodbye to visions of exactly what corrects! Inform us pleasurable things,. prophesy illusions. Leave this method,. get off this course,. and stop facing us. with the Holy One of Israel!". Let us NEVER be those who neglect God. Let us never be those who decline to listen. He is speaking, however we have to attune ourselves to His voice to listen, like a tuning fork resonating, on the right frequency.
