D. Objectif du cours
• Découvrir ce qu’est la recherche en science politique
- Via des définitions
- Via des prises de contact avec la recherche (conférences, présentation au cours, lectures
d’articles)
• Apprendre comment on fait une recherche
- Schéma de la recherche (Quivy/Van Campenhoudt)
- Travail sur chacune des étapes
- Présentation des paradigmes
- Présentation des méthodes
• Produire une recherche (partie exercices)
E. Contenu des exercices
• Les séances se structurent en deux temps : retour sur une étape de la recherche, et illustration de
cette étape par deux textes scientifiques.

• A partir de la 3 séance, ajout d’un 3 temps : présentation par les groupes de leur design de
recherche.
1 F. Méthodes d’évaluation
• L’évaluation se répartit comme suit :
- 12 points sur 20 sur l’examen écrit (janvier, août) ;
- 5 points sur le travail de groupe ;
- 3 points sur la participation active aux exercices
• Séminaire : présence obligatoire (plus de deux absences vaut 0 pour tout le cours en première
session).
• Travail : groupes de 4 (travail individuel en seconde session)
• Examen : écrit (janvier et août) ; 3 questions (1 sur le cours, 1 sur les chapitres, 1 sur le livre)
