Showcaseourprograms/achievements a. ThisisthesecondyearoftheCollege'son‐lineE‐Zine.Thispublicationincludeda specialissuethispastsummertocatchuponanythingmissedduringtheyear. b. TheDean'sofficehasamini‐convocationeachyearatwhichwecelebratetheCollege's successesincludingfacultyandstaffawardwinners,introducenewfacultyandstaff, celebratethosewhoretiredandhonorthosewepassedawayduringtheprevious academicyear. c. Thisfall(2010)wewillhaveourbiennialtownhallmeetingatwhichwediscussthestate oftheCollege.

d. Onanongoingbasis,facultyareencouragedtosendtheDean'sofficetheir achievementssothatwecanpursuemorepublicityforthemthroughUniversity publicationsand/orlocalmedia(theKCStar,radioandTVmedia). e. WorkwithUniversityCommunicationsonnewmarketingplanstoshowcaseour programs,facultyandopportunitiesforstudents. 3. ParticipateinallUniversity‐wideinitiatives,makingsurethattheCollege’sinterestsandgoals aretakenintoaccountastheseinitiativesaremovedforward—includingthedevelopmentof theStudentSuccessCenter,theHonorsCollege,theEmeritusCollegeandUniversityCollege. 4. MonitortheCollege’sprogressinthenewbudgetmodelandencouragenewideasfromour constituentbodiesongrowthincentivesandrewards. a.
