Objectives:he irst objectve o tHe GLOBAL project s to set up tHe Vrtual Coner- ence Centre, a collaboratve e-Inrastructure wHcH wll ntegrate tHe most advanced collaboratve applcatons and tools, by means o a user-centrc Web 2.0 approacH. he GLOBAL project ocuses on tHe realsaton o vrtual events, wHcH are at ts core and tHe second objectve. he tHrd objectve o tHe GLOBAL project s to wdely dssem- nate tHe results and to provde tHe results o tHe vrtual events n a sustanable way. he ourtH objectve s to expand tHe use o tHe Vrtual Conerence Servce and ts servces to tHrd partes n order to enable otHer communtes to organse vrtual events or net- workng sessons.
