Nous sommes au fin fond de l’Anatolie. Ici, vit un peuple coupé de la civi- lisation moderne. On l’appelle OFF-Love, nom emprunté à son maître spirituel et musical, l’artiste OFF-Love. Les OFF-Love pensent toujours que Michael Jackson est en vie et que la Nintendo est une révolution. Ils sont accros à la junk-food, scotchent devant Sexcrimes et se déhanchent au son des cassettes. Leurs icônes sont les TLC, Nirvana, les Smashing Pumpkins, Coolio, 2Pac et Green Day. Ils portent bombers, jeans délavés, sweat-shirts à logo over-size, et combinent bleu joyeux, noir cendré, blanc optique, rouge frais et orange. Les filles ont le nombril à l’air et leurs tops sont irisés. Les matières sont synthétiques. Les print all-over sont d’inspiration chinoise, orientale ou exotique. Symbole du chanteur Off-Love, le Yin et yang est l’imprimé phare. La génération OFF-Love a absorbé tout ce que les 90’s ont fait de plus beau et tout ce que d’autres appelleraient, sans savoir, «mauvais goût ». Allure sportive et détails grunge, astrologie chinoise et icône de la pop culture, se mêlent et se confondent. La collection ELEVENPARIS Spring / Summer 14, véritable madeleine de Proust pour jeunes adultes nostalgiques, redonne ses lettres de no- blesse à une décennie qui nous est chère. FOREVER 90’s.

We are in deepest Anatolia. Here, one sees a people cut off from modern civilisation. It is called OFF-Love, a name borrowed from its spiritual and musical master, the artist OFF-Love. The OFF-Love still think that Michael Jackson is alive and that Nin- tendo is a revolution. They are addicted to junk food, glued in front of Sexcrimes and sway their hips to the sound of cassettes. Their idols are TLC, Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, Coolio, 2Pac and Green Day. They wear bomber jackets, faded jeans, oversized sweat-shirts with logos, and combine cheerful blue, ash black, optical white, cool red and orange. The girls show their navels and their tops are the colours of the rainbow. The materials are synthetic The all-over prints are inspired by the Chinese, oriental and exotic. Yin and Yang, the symbol of the singer OFF- Love, is the major trend. The generation OFF-Love has absorbed all that is good about the 1990s and everything that others would term, without knowing, “bad taste”. Sporty looks and grunge, Chinese astrology and icons of the pop culture mingle and merge. The ELEVENPARIS Spring/Summer collection 14, for young nostalgic adults, restores a well loved decade to its former glory. FOREVER 1990s.
