Electronic cigarettes comprise water vapour, propylene glycol and only nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive substance: that's an established fact. It's this addictive quality that attracts folks to smoke tobacco cigarettes in the first place. Yet, tobacco cigs do not only include nicotine, they also feature tons of other harmful chemicals too, around 4,000 in fact; 44 of are known to be poisonous. which It is these substances that largely cause the damage, not the nicotine.
The worst of these is pitch which is created by tobacco cigarettes. This hazardous substance is linked to cancer of the bladder, lungs, throat and mouth, and numerous cancers, like stomach cancer. Those people who give up smoking tobacco cigarettes are not as likely to suffer a heart attack than those who continue with the addiction.
Although nicotine is addictive, it isn't always harmful to the body, unlike tobacco. By releasing nicotine vapour e-cigarettes fulfill the nicotine cravings, but because they don't contain tobacco or combust, they don't generate dangerous and noxious smoke. A two year controlled study has
provided evidence for that nicotine doesn't have any deleterious effects on well-being. In the study, rats were subjected to an amount of nicotine equivalent to the quantity present in the bloodstreams of heavy smokers.
The research illustrated that there was atherosclerosis during the trials, the formation of tumors, or no signs of increased mortality. The only thing it did show was that the weight of the rats did fall as an outcome of the vulnerability to nicotine. Moreover the Royal College of Surgeons has gone on record saying that nicotine is itself no more dangerous than caffeine.
