Four medico-pharmaceutical Caricatures of 1917-1918 and an Appeal to the reader.
The author calls attention to the work undertaken by W. H. Helfand to develop a corpus of graphic representations of pharmaceutical subjects. He invites readers to contribute to it and bring to the attention of the Revue d'Histoire de la Pharmacie any little known items. In connection with this program he notes that it would be extremely useful from now on to collect those caricatures of our own period which appear in the journals and periodicals. As examples he gives three caricatures of 1917 on cod liver oil and Pyramidon and one on 1918 which shows Germany attacked by the « American flu ».

Der Autor lenkt die Aufmerksamkeit auf die von W.-H. Helfand unternommene Arbeit zur Zusammenstellung eines Corpus der pharmazeutischen Graphik. Er lädt die Leser ein, Ihren Beitrag zu liefern. Er bemertkt dabei, dass es jetzt sehr nützlich wäre, Karikaturen der im 20. Jht. erschienenen Zeitschriften und Zeitungen zu sammeln. Er gibt dafür vier Beispiele : drei Karikaturen von 1917, welche sich auf Lebertran und Pyramidon beziehen, und eine von 1918, welche das von der « amerikanischer Grippe » heimgesuchte Deutschland zeigt.
