MO3T- another approach to interoperability Presentation to “Licenses for Europe” workshop
P. Geslot, V. Marty, M-F Audouard April 2013
Overview
MO3T offers a new way of distributing digital content – particularlyaccess rightstocontent within the framework of amodel whichisopento all
MO3T defines how the following parties worktogether: –Players who provide digital content offers –Players who sell it –Players who store it in personal clouds
Andtherefore solves the interoperability problem at the “digital right” level
This proposal happens to meet the current needs of the publishing industry…andthe business approach of this particular model could ensure the supportofnumerousinterestedparties – online vendors, physical points of sale, supermarkets, publishers of content, device manufacturers, integrators, start-ups…
But the concept developed in MO3Tcan alsoapply toany typeof content or access rights – Music, videos, – App’s, web sites etc…
MO3T is currently anInvesting for the Future(French government programme) project, which aims to create aproof ofconceptforH2 2013 The decision to go into fullscaleproductionwillbemadeatend2013 -
