My First Mesmerizing Experience of Pushkar Trip Modern life is becomingmore hectic bythe minute of everydayso for removingthis messy 24*7 hectic day, I suddenlyplanned forPushkar Tourwhich is 138 kms from Jaipur. Igot in the local bus for experiencingdomesticpassenger’s behavior. It took about 2.45 minutes to reach Ajmer Bus stand. After reachingbus stand, myclose friend Sudiptopicked me from bus stand. Sudipto’s elfield bike started for movingus to destination.Then we cut through big mountains and after covering 14 kilometers distance we were in Pushkar. Enfields pulled upat the outskirts of Pushkar Town. Greatplace to explore with local languages and bohemian culture spirit.

We spent few hours to visit Brahma tempBesides the Pushkarle and Brahma Ghat. ghat, there were local shops and restaurants. We started maunderingthrough streets and had mouthwateringdishes in exclusive cafes. Now it was an exploringtime to rummage in local makeshifts , which are the real and uniquejewels of Pushkar. This small town has annual camel and Pushkar fair. In these fairs, both foreign and Indian artistsget themselves to pdiscovered manerform. We ySaadhus(saints)meanderingin alleys and in local markets. Some of them were havingchit chat over their smartphone,playingand dancingblissfully. It was agreat fascination for both of us to find spiritualitymixed with modernity.

There are kind of makeshifts like bag, bohemian ornaments, handcraft item, cloths, shoes and manymore.Handmade “Jootis” and banglemakers shops were also another attraction for us. This is verynoticeable how bangle makers made Lakh bangle with deep concentration. Sudiptopurchased ornaments and lakh bangle for his wife after all wives should bepleased in anyway. He bought some nicepiece of necklaces and some wooden danglers with full of bohemian art. We foundplentyof handicrafts items with inexpensive product range. This market was a mish mash of chaotic cultures.

After almost emptyingourpockets, we were onpathways of this town. Generallythere were white colored houses with smallporch and veranda. These houses were situated in small alleys. Pushkar is well known for foreigners as well as local tourists too. In Pushkar, both kinds of tourists come includingreligiouspilgrims and foreigner’s hippy. Some hippies stay over there for somephase of time for enjoyingtheir lives and live in mental stress less environment. Now this was ageneral eveningfor me but for all others it was a night life. The market, Ghats and other things wereglowingall the wayto hold myway. things of Pushkar but still manymore alluringthings were left for me. But this is a time no one can hold this and I had to move to bus stand of Ajmer. Bythe time we were seated on enfield. I decided that I will explore Pushkar’s night life verysoon.

In the entireTour to PushkarI had several experiences about the culture, religion, history, traditions and other elements of the state. It was the first ever experience for me but it left some mesmerizing memories. Hope you like my experience.
