Revue Philosophique de Louvain - Année 1972 - Volume 70 - Numéro 8 - Pages 620-634The experience of the faith and the existence of God. The Rev. Ph. Roqueplo affirms that the modern science have rendered lapsed the proofs of the existence of God produced by Thomas Aquinas and, in a general way, that the rationality of the faith cannot be based on the so-called universal validity of the philosophical discourse. We try to show that the five ways continue to conduct to the establishment of the existence of God, having objective foundations and intersubjective validity because the principle of causality, derived from the principle of sufficient reason, holds out against all attacks, the nature reveals the finality to any person who knows to see it and the philosophical discourse do not appear at all regional if to prove is not confounded with to convince. 15 pages
