NIL (Nietzsche International Lab) is an international research laboratory focused on the work of Friedrich Nietzsche. Being part of the Institute for Philosophy of Language (IFL), its aim is to foster research in the fields of Philosophy of Language and Philosophy of Mind in relation to Nietzsches work. However, NILs broader objective is to create and coordinate a collaboration network with several of the most important Nietzsche research centers in Europe. These now include: Centro Interuniverstario “Colli-Montinari” (Italy), Internationale Nietzsche-Forschungsgruppe Greifswald (Germany), Nietzsche Gesellschaft (Germany), Friedrich Nietzsche Society of Great Britain and Ireland (UK), Seden Sociedad Española de Estudios sobre Friedrich Nietzsche (Spain), GIRN Groupe International de Recherches sur Nietzsche (Europhilosophie). The protocols with these centres include such items as:
1. Exchange of technical-scientific information pertaining to the areas of research being developed; 2. Exchange of documents and publications; 3. Exchange of teachers and researchers; 4. Interchange of postgraduate students; 5. Development of shared research projects and programs; 6.Organization of events (seminars, conferences, training colloquia, university extension activities, etc.).
