The library of the Court of Justice of the European Communities endeavours to acquire as complete
a collection as possible of the literature on the legal issues of European integration and to make it
a ccessible bibliographically. Since 1981, an annual bibliography of books and contributions to peri-
1odicals and joint works ( ) has been compiled on the basis of the library’s acquisitions in the relevant
year. Volumes 1 to 9 of the abovementioned bibliography appeared as internal publications of the Court
of Justice. A bimonthly current bibliography is publicly available on the Court of Justice Internet site
(www.curia.eu.int > The Institution > Departments > Library).
The annual bibliography is an extract from the catalogue of the library. Its structure is based on the
European Community law part of the library classification scheme, a scheme drawn up by the library
and on the basis of which its collection has been indexed. The bibliography can also be consulted
using an author index or a title index.
The annual bibliography does not include notes on individual judgments of the Court of Justice of
the European Communities or of the Court of First Instance in so far as those notes have not been
indexed as articles by the library. The references to the notes in question are available annually from
the Office for Official Publications of the European Communities under the title Notes — Références
des notes de d octrine aux arrêts de la Cour de justice et du Tribunal de première instance des Com-
munautés européennes (Volume I: EUR 22; Volume II: EUR 45), and are also available on the Court’s
Internet site (www.curia.eu.int > Case-law > Annotation of judgments).

3Remarque préliminaire
La bibliothèque de la Cour de justice des Communautés européennes s’efforce de procéder de
manière aussi complète que possible à l’acquisition et à l’exploitation bibliographique de la litté-
rature relative aux problèmes juridiques de l’intégration européenne. Depuis 1981, elle établit dans
ce domaine une bibliographie annuelle, dont les volumes 1 à 9 sont parus en tant que publication
interne de la Cour, qui englobe, sur la base des acquisitions de l’année, les publications monogra-
1phiques et les contributions parues dans les périodiques et les ouvrages collectifs ( ).
Une bibliographie courante bimensuelle est mise à la disposition du public sur le site internet de la
Cour de justice (http://www.curia.eu.int > L’institution > Services > Bibliothèque).
La bibliographie annuelle est un extrait du catalogue de la bibliothèque. Sa structure se fonde sur
la partie «Droit de l’Union et des Communautés européennes» du plan systématique de la bibli-
othèque, une classification élaborée par celle-ci sur la base de laquelle l’indexation par matières de
son fonds est réalisée. La bibliographie est accompagnée d’un index des auteurs et des titres.
La bibliographie ne couvre pas les notes de doctrine aux décisions de la Cour de justice et du Tribunal
de première instance des Communautés européennes dans la mesure où ces notes n’ont pas été prises
en considération en tant qu’articles de doctrine par la bibliothèque. Les références à de telles notes font
l’objet d’une publication annuelle distribuée par l’Office des publications officielles des Communautés
européennes sous le titre Notes — Références des notes de doctrine aux arrêts de la Cour de justice
et du Tibunal de première instance des Communautés européennes (volume I: 22 euros; volume II:
45 euros) et sont également disponibles sur le site internet de la Cour de justice (http://www.curia.
eu.int > Jurisprudence > Notes de doctrine aux arrêts).

Die Bibliothek des Gerichtshofes der Europäischen Gemeinschaften bemüht sich, das Schrifttum zu
Rechtsfragen der Europäischen Integration möglichst vollständig zu erwerben und bibliografisch zu
erschließen. Seit 1981 wird hierzu eine jährliche Bibliografie erstellt, deren Bände 1 bis 9 als interne
Veröffentlichung des Gerichtshofes erschienen sind, und die auf der Grundlage der Erwerbungen
des betreffenden Jahres die monografischen Veröffentlichungen und die in Zeitschriften und Sam-
1melwerken erschienenen Beiträge erfasst ( ).
Ein alle zwei Monate erscheinendes Verzeichnis der Neuerwerbungen (bibliographie courante) wird
der Öffentlichkeit auf der Website des Gerichtshofes zur Verfügung gestellt (www.curia.eu.int > Das
Organ > Dienststellen > Bibliothek).
Die jährliche Bibliografie ist ein Auszug aus dem Katalog der Bibliothek. Die Gliederung beruht
auf dem von der Bibliothek für die Indexierung verwendetem Klassifikationsschema „Recht der
europäischen Union und der Europäischen Gemeinschaften“. Die Bibliografie wird zusätzlich durch
ein Autoren- und ein Titelregister erschlossen.
Die Bibliografie umfasst nicht die Besprechungen zu einzelnen Entscheidungen des Gerichtshofes
und des Gerichts erster Instanz der Europäischen Gemeinschaften, es sei denn diese sind als Auf-
sätze zum Gemeinschaftsrecht katalogisiert worden. Die Fundstellen dieser Besprechungen werden
in einer jährlichen Veröffentlichung des Amtes für amtliche Veröffentlichungen der Europäischen
