On distingue trois types principaux parmi les becs du Magdalénien du Bassin Parisien : becs à longue pointe axiale, à extrémité ogivale, ou déjetés. On étudie leur répartition d'abord dans le site de Marsangy puis dans l'ensemble des habitats magdaléniens du Bassin Parisien. On observe que les becs ne présentent pas la même organisation spatiale que le reste de l'outillage. Localisés préférentiellement dans certains gisements autour de certains foyers, on peut les considérer comme des outils spécialisés adaptés à un travail sans doute saisonnier.
