Автор сочленяет исследование социального действия юношества вокруг понятия « проекта на будущее ». Для этого он различает с аналитической точки зрения два уровня « проекта на будущее » : проект на « краткий срок » — проект немедленной мобильности — и проект на « долгий срок » — склоняющийся к образу взрослого человека к которому стремится молодой человек. На каждом из этих уровней можно различить три типа проектов : отсутствие проекта, проект « реалистический » и проект « различный ». Центральная гипотеза такова : образы ассоциации одного типа проекта на « краткий срок » с типом проекта на « долгий срок » являются указателем родов социальной адаптации.
Анкета была проведена в предместьи Бордо по образцу из 212 юношей и материал был собран методом интервьюирования. Вокруг каждого из четырех родов эволюции проекта группируется совокупность связных между собой установок. Автор называет такие совокупности « удовлетворенностью », « утечкой », « конфликтом » и « апатией ». Это и являются четыре типа социальной адаптации юношества.
Так как понятие проекта, главным образом проекта мобильности, применяется в области социологии труда и организаций, это исследование показывает что он может быть использован как пригодный инструмент концептуальности для анализа социального действия юношества.
François Dubet : Vorschläge fiir eine Definition der sozialen Anpassungs- weisen der Jugendlichen vermittels des Projektbegriffes.
Der Verfasser ordnet seine Studie des sozialen Handelns der Jugendlichen um den Begriff des Projektes. Zu diesem Zweek unterscheidet er, vom analytischen Standpunkt aus, zwischen zwei Projektebenen der Jugendlichen : dem « kurzfristigen » Projekt — Projekt der sofortigen Mobilität — und dem « langfristigen » Projekt — im Hinblick auf das Bild der Erwachsenen, das der Jugendliche anstrebt. Auf jeder Ebene kann man zwischen drei verschiedenen Projektgruppen unterscheiden : das nicht vorhandene Projekt, das « realistische » Projekt und das « verändernde » Projekt. Der hauptsächlichen Hypothèse des Verfassers zufolge, liefern die Assoziationsarten eines kurzfristigen mit einem langfristigen Projekttypus die Indizien einer sozialen Anpassungsweise. Die Untersuchung wurde in Vororten von Bordeaux an Hand einer Auswahl von 212 Jugendlichen durchgefuhrt und das Material durch die Fragebogenmethode zusammengestellt. Um jede der vier erzielten Entwicklungsarten verteilen sich zusammenhangende Einheiten von Einstellungen, die der Verfasser wie folgt bezeichnet : « Zufriedenheit », « Fluchtstreben », « Konflikt » und « Apathie ». Der Begriff des Projektes, insbesondere der des Mobilitátsprojektes, wird im Allgemeinen auf dem Gebiet der Arbeits- und Organisationssoziologie verwendet; diese Studie beweist jedoch, dass er ebenfalls als ein zutreffendes konzeptuelles Werkzeug innerhalb der Analyse des sozialen Handelns der Jugendlichen betrachtet werden kann.

Articula el autor el estudio de la acción social de los adolescentes alrededor de la noción de proyecto. Por eso analiza dos categories de proyecto en los adolescentes : el proyecto de «corto plazo» proyecto de mobilidad inmediata, y el proyecto de «plazo lejano», proyecto tendido hacia la imagen del adulte que desea alcanzar el joven. En cada una de esas categorías se diferencian très tipos de proyecto : la ausencia de proyecto, el proyecto «realista» que se situa entre las soluciones o los estatutos generelmente concebibles a partir de una situación de trabajo, y el proyecto diferente. La hipótesis central es que son los géneros de asociación de un tipo de proyecto de «corto plazo» con un tipo de «plazo lejano» que son los indices de un modo de adaptación social. La encuesta que fué realizada en el suburbio de Burdeos comprende una muestra de 212 adolescentes y se estableció según el método de los cuestionarios por interviú. Alrededor de cada uno de los cuatro modos de evolución del proyecto obtenido se reparten con juntos cohérentes de actitudes. Los nombra el autor : la «satisf acción», el «evesionismo», el «conflicto» y le «apetiá». Se trata de los cuatro tipos de edaptación social de los adolescentes. Cuando generalmente la noción de proyecto y precisamente la de proyecto de mobilided se utiliza en los dominios de la sociología del trabejo y de las organizaciones, enseña este estudio que puede ser considerado como instrumente conceptual pertinente en el análisis de la acción social de los adolescentes.
François Dubet : Suggestion for a Definition of the Patterns of Social Adaptation of Youth Starting from the Concept of Plan.
The A. centers the study of the social action of youth upon the concept of plan. Therefore, he distinguishes two levels of plan regarding youth : the 'short- term' plan — plan of immediate mobility — and the 'long-term' plan — plan oriented towards the adult image that is reached for. At both level, three types of plan are differenciated : the lack of plan, the 'realistic' plan and the 'different' plan. The main hypothesis is that the association between a short-term and a long-term plan, indicates a mode of social adaptation. The survey, performed in the suburbs of Bordeaux, deals with a sample of 212 adolescents and the data were collected by the means of interview questionnaires. Coherent sets of attitudes are distributed among each of the four evolutionary processes resulting from the plan. The A. names them : 'satisfaction', 'escapism', 'conflict' and 'apathy'. These are the 4 types of the social adaptation of adolescents. Though the concept of plan, especially that of mobility plan, is generally applied in the field of the sociology of work and organizations, this research shows it can be considered as a relevant conceptual tool in the analysis of the social action of youth.
