Chers Membres, De grands moments ont marqué le printemps à Sainte-Anne. Après une somptueuse soirée en l’honneur de la République Fédérale d’Allemagne, nous nous sommes passionnés pour le Concours Reine Elisabeth dont le deuxième lauréat ne fut autre qu un de nos plus jeunes membres associés, Lorenzo Gatto, qui ’ nous avait gratifiés d’un magnifique concert au château l’an dernier. Encore toutes nos félicitations et bon vent à Lorenzo, charmant et talentueux artiste. Ensuite, nous avons célébré le quarantième anniversaire du Club en présence de LL.AA.RR. le Prince Philippe et la Princesse Mathilde lors d’une grande réception sous un soleil radieux. Nous ne nous arrêterons pas en si bon chemin... Nous avons profité de vos départs en vacances pour rénover les offices du château, afin d’assurer de meilleures conditions de travail à notre concessionnaire qui faisait des miracles dans des locaux qui méritaient un sérieux rafraîchissement. Notre site internet (www.chateau-sainte-anne.be) a été complètement remis au goût du jour. Vous pouvez y consulter le Club Times, le menu du restaurant, y trouver les dernières actualités et vous inscrire directement aux manifestations de votre choix. Les photos de grands événements y fi gurent également. Le programme de cet automne est varié. Tir aux clays, fête de la piscine et autres compétitions de golf attendent les sportifs. Parmi les orateurs qui monteront à notre tribune, citons Jean- Claude Daoust, Axel Miller, Fathi Tlatli, Henri Giscard d’Estaing, Peter de Caluwe … Et fin octobre, nous vous donnons rendez-vous à notre grand dîner de chasse annuel. Enfin, vous lirez dans la rubrique «Travel» que grâce à l’aimable concours de Son Excellence Monsieur Clive Agius, Ambassadeur de Malte, nous pouvons vous proposer un séjour exceptionnel à Malte au mois de novembre. La saison de la piscine touche à sa fi n et nous remercions Philippe Monfort et Maxence Legout ainsi que Yahya et l’équipe catering pour leur enthousiasme et leur gentillesse au Club House. Beste Leden, Tijdens de lente hebben we op Sint Anna enkele grootse momenten beleefd. Eerst was er het plechtig avondfeest ter ere van de Duitse Bondsrepubliek. Daarna hebben we de Koningin Elisabeth wedstrijd voor viool van zeer dichtbij gevolgd en één van onze jongste geassocieerde leden, Lorenzo Gatto, eindigde als tweede finalist. Verleden jaar gaf hij een prachtig concert op het kasteel. Onze oprechte wensen van geluk en voorspoed aan Lorenzo, een charmant en zeer begaafd kunstenaar. Nadien hebben we de veertigste verjaardag van de Club gevierd in aanwezigheid van HH.KK.HH. Prins Philippe en Prinses Mathilde met een grote receptie en onder een stralende zon. Maar we stoppen niet en zetten onze weg verder.... Van de vakantieperiode maken wij gebruik om de dienkeukens van het kasteel te vernieuwen. Onze concessiehouder verrichtte reeds mirakels in lokalen die meer dan een ernstige verfrissing nodig hadden. Nu zal hij in nog betere omstandigheden kunnen werken. Onze internetsite (www.chateau-sainte-anne.be) werd volledig vernieuwd. U kunt er de Club Times, het menu van het restaurant en de laatste nieuwtjes raadplegen en u ook rechtstreeks inschrijven op de aktiviteiten van uw keuze. De foto’s van de voornaamste aktiviteiten worden op die website weergegeven. Het herfstprogramma is gevarieerd. Kleiduifschieten, een feest aan de zwemkom en een golfwedstrijd voor de sportliefhebbers onder ons. Onder de redenaars verwelkomen we Jean-Claude Daoust, Axel Miller, Fathi Tlatli, Henri Giscard d’Estaing, Peter de Caluwe, ... En eind oktober spreken we af voor ons jaarlijks jachtdiner. Tenslotte, kunt u in onze rubriek ‘Travel’ lezen dat dankzij de medewerking van de Ambassadeur van Malta, Zijne Excellentie De Heer Clive Agius, wij u een uitzonderlijk verblijf in Malta kunnen voorstellen tijdens de maand november. Het seizoen aan de zwemkom loopt ten einde en graag danken we langs deze weg Philippe Monfort en Maxence Legout alsook Yahya en de ganse cateringploeg van het Club House voor hun inzet en enthousiasme. Dear Members, Spring was very eventful at Sainte-Anne. After a special evening in honour of the Federal Republic of Germany, we listened to the « Concours Reine Elisabeth» and the laureate in second place was no other than one of our younger associate members, Lorenzo Gatto, who gave a superb concert at the Château last year. Congratulations and the best of luck to this charming and talented young artist. Later, during a large reception in brilliant evening sunshine, we celebrated the fortieth anniversary of our Club in the presence of TT.RR.HH. Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde. And we will continue in a similar manner... We took advantage of the holiday season to renovate the pantries in the Château, thus enabling our caterer to enjoy more congenial working areas. Our website (www.chateau-sainte-anne.be) was likewise completely updated; it is now possible to check the Club Times, the restaurant menu, the latest news and reserve the events you wish to attend. Photographs of the important events are available as well. e autumn programme is varied: clay bird shooting, party at the swimming pool, golf tournaments and other events for our sportsmen and sportswomen. Among the speakers we will welcome are Jean-Claude Daoust, Axel Miller, Fathi Tlatli, Henri Giscard d’Estaing, Peter de Caluwe, … At the end of October, we expect you at the annual hunting dinner. Finally, you will read in the “Travel” section that thanks to the help of His Excellency Mr Clive Agius, Ambassador of Malta, we can propose a special trip to Malta at the end of November. e end of the season at the pool is approaching and we thank Philippe Monfort and Maxence Legout as well as Yahya and the catering team for the enthusiasm and kindness constantly shown by them at the Club House.
