Greece), representing a deseasonalised drop of 4.3% compared with the preceding month and a fall of 7.5% compared with March 1985. The first quarter of 1986 works out thus at a drop of 2.3% compared with the first quarter of 1985. Works estimates for April hint at a reversal of this negative trend (+ 4% deseasonalised compared with March 1986). As regards foreign trade in ECSC products (EUR 10) intracommunity transactions and transactions with third countries experienced divergent trends in the course of 1985. In fact intracommunity trade remained almost stationary (+ 0.8% compared with 1984). On the other hand imports from third countries grew by 6.5% and exports experienced a rise of 12.4%, representing an increase of 15.7% on the Community export balance. En mars 1986, 11,4 mio.t. d'acier brut ont été produits dans la Communauté (Grèce exclue), ce qui représente un recul désaisonnalisé de 4,3% par rapport au mois précédent et une baisse de 7,5% par rapport à mars 1985. Le premier trimestre 1986 se solde ainsi par un recul de 2,3% par rapport au premier trimestre 1985.
