The Little Lux™ by Electrolux is a versatile hand held vacuum. Its powerful 2.0 amp motor and chevron type cleaning brush offer superior cleaning performance and durability. The 20 foot cord is an added convenience for vacuuming hard to reach places like stairs and car and boat interiors. It’s compact size and lightweight construction make it easy to carry and store.

Operating Instructions Control Switch CAUTION: Make sure switch is in the OFF position before plugging into outlet. The control switch is a momentary switch that will automatically return to theOFF(O) position when not depressed(A). To turn ON(I)the unit, depress the switch and hold it down. When finished cleaning, release the switch and the unit will turn OFF(O).

Bag Removal Before removing the bag, turn the unit off and unplug the cord from the power source. To remove the bag simply grasp the edge of the rubber bag ring closest to the unit and pull toward the unit handle. Note:Do not attempt to pull the pulling on the fabric. Damage ma

Bag Attachment To attach the filter bag, position the bag horizontally with zipper facing down. Grasp the bag ring at the rear, near the curve of the bag, then place the ring over the small end of the exhaust opening. Holding the unit in one hand, pull the ring backward up over the exhaust opening (B). Be sure that the bag ring is fully engaged into the grooves on the exhaust opening. If it is not, dust may leak out. Note:Before reattaching the bag, make sure the flapper valve is in place over the exhaust opening. This valve helps to prevent debris from re-entering the unit.

En tenant l’appareil d’une main, tirer l’anneau vers l’arrière par dessus cet orifice(B). S’assurer que l’anneau est bien en place dans les rai- nures de l’orifice d’échappement; sinon, la poussière pourrait s’échapper.Note : Avant de réinstaller le sac, veiller à ce que le rabat recouvre bien l’orifice d’échappement. Ce rabat aide à empêcher que la saleté ne retourne dans l’appareil.

Emptying Bag To empty the bag once it has been removed, turn the bag over to expose zipper while keeping the bag ring faci upward.Hint:When emptying bag, bag collar over to prevent debris from escaping.Unzip the zipper and shake contents of the bag into a trash recep (C). Inspect the inside of the bag to be sure that it is completely empty.Note:The bag may be emptied while still attached to the unit if you prefer.

Washing Bag If the bag becomes very soiled after several uses, hand wash it in a mild detergent and warm water and hang to dry.Note:Do not place in clothes washer or dryer. Damage may result.

Using the Dual Cleaning Surface Your unit has been designed with a unique dual cleaning surface(D). When cleaning flat surfaces, such as stairs, or automobile floors you can use a rocking stroke to aid in cleaning. When pushing forward set the unit on it’s rear surface. When pulling backward, tilt the handle slightly forward using the front surface. This motion allows the suction path to face the dirt and debris. Should you choose to not use this method, the large rounded area along the rear of the housing will ride up over the debris.

Brush Dowel Care Periodically inspect the brush dowel for a build up of threads and hair. Excessive build-up of this type of litter may damage your unit.

Removing Caught Objects If an object becomes caught in the bru roll, turn the unitOFFimmediately. Un the cord from the power source and remove object from brush(E).

What is Covered by this Warranty -Aerus warrants theLittle Lux by Electroluxto the consumer subject to the conditions below, against defects in workmanship or material, provided that the products are returned to an Aerus location within 2 years from th e date of purchase. How to Obtain Warranty Service- Upon contacting and returning, at consumer's sole cost and expense, the product with proof of purchase (including purchase date), to an Aerus location within the above time period, Aerus will repair or replace and retu rn the product, without charge and within a reasonable period of time, any part which its examination shall disclose to be defecti ve in workmanship or material. If Aerus is unable to repair the product after a reasonable number of attempts, Aerus will provideither a refund of the purchase price or a replacement unit, at the consumer's option. What is Not Covered by this Warranty- This product is intended for household use only. Ordinary wear and tear shall not be considered a defect in workmanship or material. This warranty does not apply to loss or damage caused by accident, fire, abuse, misuse, modification, misapplication, commercial use, or by any repairs other than those provided by an authorized Aerus Service Center. The warranty with respect to the motor and fan unit is null and void if it is damaged as a result of vacuuming damp or wet surfaces. Should your unit require any service, contact your Electrolux representative or the nearest Electrolux branch listed in your telephone directory. Your authorized Electrolux branch offers you the best in service both during and after the warranty period, as well as genuine Electrolux parts and supplies. The only user serviceable part on the Little Lux II is the filter bag assembly. Any repair of a non- user serviceable part must be performed by an authorized service center. Every effort is made to ensure that customers receive an up-to- date instruction manual on the use of Electrolux products; however, from time to time, modifications to our products may without notice make the information contained herein subject to alteration. All power units of the Electrolux Home Care System are certified by the Canadian Standards Association and listed by Underwriters Laboratories Incorporated. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
