A: Transforming differencesinside the organization, and with external stakeholders, into opportunities for positive change and increased effectiveness.

A: Cooling down conflict that is too “hot,” and warming up supressed conflict that is too “cold,” so that it reaches a temperature range that is appropriate for cooking (i.e. transformation).
