Americas favorite animated family, who just celebrated their 20-year anniversary, th will help greet its guests as The Fair celebrates its 59year. “The Simpsons is a modern cult classic with worldwide appeal,”commented Phillip Clark, CEO of The Miami-Dade County Fair. “We are happy to bring the fun and joy of its characters to thousands of fairgoers in such a unique way.” Also on the main stage, long-time Fair volunteer, Lisa Lashbrook will be receiving a special recognition from the mayors office for her contributions spanning a decade. As the longest running animated and comedy series in television history, The st Simpsons has aired more than 400 episodes to date.Currently in its 21season, the critically acclaimed show features Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson, who take traditional family life and turn it upside down. th The 2010 Miami-Dade County Fair will be celebrating its 59year beginning th March 25through April 11th, 2010.Ranked the largest fair in Florida, The Fair is an 18-day event which includes rides, games, food and live entertainment.Close to 50,000 student and adult exhibits are showcased during The Fair. General admission to The Fair is $9 for adults and children, free for children five years of age and younger. TheFair is located at Coral Way (SW 24th Street) and 112th Avenue in
