Die Stockholmer Seraphime und Ihre Apothekertöpfe. Die Apotheke des « Serafimerlasarettet » von Stockholm, besass um die Mitte des 18.Jts eine Gruppe von Fayence-Gefässe aus den Werkstätten von Rörstrand und Marieberg. Eine gewisse Anzahl derer ist erhalten geblieben, hier und dort. Sie tragen das Monogramm des Seraphimerordens und sind auch in eigentümlicher Weise mit dem Namen des Spital- apothekers Georgii versehen. Die Autorin beschreibt sie, nachdem Sie einen histori-schen Rückblick auf den Orden der Seraphimer, deren Spital in Stockholm, die Biographie von Georgii, und die Fayence-Manufakturen von Rörstrand und Marieberg gegeben hat.
The Seraphim of Stockholm and their Pharmacy Jars. The pharmacy of the « Serafimerlasarettet » of Stockholm had in its possession, about the middle of the 18th century, a set of faience vases which came from the well-known factories of Rörstrand and Marieberg. A few of them have been preserved, and they bear the monogram of the Order of Seraphim as well as the unusual detail of the name of the hospital pharmacist, Georgii. The author describes them, after giving a short history of the Order of Seraphim and their hospital in Stockholm, a biography of Georgii, and a review of the faience manufacturies of Rörstrand and Marieberg.

Abstract

The Seraphim of Stockholm and their Pharmacy Jars. The pharmacy of the « Serafimerlasarettet » of Stockholm had in its
