Winter Wedding Photographer
Your choice of weddingphotographer is even more significant forplanninga winter weddingsomeone who has experience workingwith low lights and loves winter weddingphotography. As light disappears quicklyduringwinter and days are shorter, plan to complete the weddingceremonyno later than 1pm so you have enough time for outdoor shots.
Wrap up
A frostybride is not a charmingonepack willies, stoles, and blanketsall these will keepthe chill off and also work as creative picture props for your outdoor shots for the perfect winter wedding photography shots.
Plan for Extra Travel Time
Inclement weather conditions can result in more traffic and unexpected delays. Account for extra time for yourself and your guests for travel to the venue.
Stick to one venue
Ifpossible haveyour weddingceremony& reception in the one venue, or venues verynear to each other. This will make transport easier in case of bad weather on the wedding day.
Add some sparkle and romance with fairy lights and candles
One of the best things about winter weddings is fairylights. Twinklingfairylights can turn anyweddingfantasyin to a romantic realityandgiveyour bigdaythat extra somethingspecial whether indoors or out. Also remember to add a touch of romance with candles in your ceremony and reception space.
Play with colour
Getyour winterpalette out andplaywith rich warm tones of red, burgundyandgold. Add some wintryromance with natural greenery.
Keep Your Bridesmaids Warm
Don’t forgetyour bridesmaids will be cold too! Make sure to have a chick coverupreadyforyour bridesmaids.
Wedding Favours with a hint of winter
The days maybe shorter but there are still countless ways to thankyour near and dear ones for attendingyour winter wedding. Favour fairy suggests winter wedding favours such as blankets or pashminas, sparkles, mulled wine or even candy canes.
Highlights From Some Destination Wedding Photography
I really enjoy being hired as a destination wedding photographer. Capturing moments of pure wonderfrom crashingwaves and starlit skies to iconic buildings steeped in history. And although I’m predominantlya London weddingphotographer, I have been fortunate enough to have shot at some spectacular destination weddings.
I was delighted to be asked to be the destination weddingphotographer for Stefanie and Avnish in gorgeousMalta. Some highlights from this stunningvenue were the outstandingphotos from landmarks includingCastello Zamittello in Mgarr and the ZebbugParish Church. The Church is a work of splendour dating back to 1632, while Castello Zamittello is a majestic castle built in the 17th Century.
This was one incredible destination wedding, and I felt one incrediblyfortunate destination weddingphotographer.
Nigeria maynot seem like the most obviousluxurydestination wedding, but it’s a hidden beautythat makes for a unique wedding experience. Nigeria is renowned as the cultural capital of Africa, and from the food to the exciting venues, it can make for a wonderful choice of wedding destination.
Switzerland brings about images of stunningnatural beautyand charmingold towns makingfor ideal weddingphotography. I was honoured to be the weddingphotographer for Gilyan and Dan who opted to get married in beautiful Zermatt.
While the entire weddingwas special, the backdropandpictureperfect skies enabled some reallysuperb photos to be captured. The ceremonywas held in the charmingGrand Hotel Zermatterhof, but before that we managed somegorgeous snaps atopthe Matterhorn mountains. See some moreSwitzerland destination wedding photography.
Hawaii surelyhas to rank as one of the most excitingand iconic exotic weddingdestinations(certainlyfrom a destination weddingphotographer’s perspective). I wasfortunate to find that out first hand when Staceyand Savas decided to hire me for their dream weddingin this beautiful location. The 12 lovelyguests made this one of the most relaxed, intimate and peaceful weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure to shoot.
Thesewedding pictures from Hawaiitell their own storya sensational beach, a beautiful happy couple, and plenty of warm weather and smiling faces.
Australia, and more specificallySydneyrounds upour final amazingweddingdestination. As theseSydney Wedding Photographyimages show, this is a lavish and loud city for a wedding.
