the pupils at the topRoyal Canadian Speech Contest. Its Time to Present Them Exactly What You Got! For months our students from Grades 1 to 8 have been composing, editing, and exercising their speeches for the long waited for day. Now, it is finally their time to shine. On Sunday, February 9th, The Prestige School students are urged to go to the Annual Royal Canadian Speech Contest, hosted and arranged by the Royal Canadian Legion. Over the years, it has ended up being Private School's custom to have our youngsters turn up and express their ideas, concepts, or concerns. Its a memorable experience for both the households and the school personnel. The families get an opportunity to see their children, young or old, gather their courage to talk in front of a crowd. The instructors are filled with pride as they view their students take child steps to the podium and not be afraid to talk their minds. It is certainly a moment worth enjoying. Those who shall be competing are anticipated to reach 12:30 sharp in the afternoon for registration. Entry forms are required to be signed by a parent in order for the youngster to participate. All students are reminded that they have to wear their full formal school uniform. Hope to see you all and best of luck! Let's Hear it For... The Yearly Royal Canadian Speech Contest hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion was on Sunday, February 9. Students from grades 1 to 8 came and provided it their all up at the podium. It was thrilling to enjoy and listen as every student increased and talked about their speech subject, which they invested numerous weeks preparing and exercising. Some subjects that were used were: good friends and how wonderful school is, food preparation, television, dreams, chocolate, graffiti, snakes, natural catastrophes, as well as a popular Hollywood figure: Marylin Monroe. The Prestige Private School pupils revealed that they had positioned a great deal of time in their practicing. Despite the fact that it was nerve wracking, they place on a brave face, strode towards the podium with their head held high, and delivered their speeches with interest. It was a pleasure to see. This contest was a wonderful experience for the students. They learned the techniques that are required to offer heart warming speeches and ideas on ways to enhance from the very judges themselves.
