Reducing your carbohydrate intake helps you to moderate your calorie consumption, and can enable you to burn more body fat. A typical lowcarb diet plan contains 50 to 150 grams of carbohydrates a day. But, if you are not used to a low carb diet, you must decrease your carb consumption gradually. Here's a sample lowcarb diet plan: For your morning meal: Go for a fat burning low carbohydrate breakfast composed of meat and nuts . Good meat choices would include buffalo, turkey, beef, and chicken. Consider salmon and tuna if you don't eat meat. For the nuts, opt for pistachios, walnuts, almonds, or hazelnuts. For lunch time: Don't go for highcarb wraps and sandwiches; go for salads instead. Go for a protein source just like cottage cheese,meat, or eggs. Put in as many vegetables as you want. Finish off your salad with a little bit of fat from oil like coconut oil or olive oil. For supper: Should you have had meat at lunch, then go for an oily fish, like salmon, trout or mackerel for dinner, and vice versa. Great protein sources add balance to your meal and must constitute onethird of your plate. Also, add as much veggies as you like  preferably from fibrous sources, just like lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli, and spinach. Add a small amount of fat  a tablespoon of coconut oil or oilve oil is good. If you want dessert, go for sugarfree gelatin, fatfree yogurt or low carbohydrate fruits like strawberries, blackberries and blueberries.
