Process of sand casting

There are three techniques inoursand casting process including normal quartz sand casting ,Furan resin sand casting and precoated sand casting.For sand casting, the weight controled is 40-2500kg.
Normal quartz sand casting
The dimension tolerance of normal quartz sand casting we could reach is CT11-12, the main material is Gray Iron, Ductile iron, Hight Cr Cast iron, Resistance cast iron, alloy steel, Carbon steel & stainless steel an so on.
Furan resin-sand casting
The tolerance of Furan resin sand casting we could reach is CT10-11. The main material is Gray Iron, Ductile iron, Hight Cr Cast iron, Resistance cast iron, alloy steel, Carbon steel & stainless steel an so on.
Precoated sand casting
The Dimension tolerance of precoated sand casting we could reach is CT8-9, the main material is Gray Iron, Ductile iron, Hight Cr Cast iron, Resistance cast iron and so on. The weight controled is 0.5-30kg.
Sand casting process:
1.Mould designing Strictly making 3D model based on customer’s drawing dimensions, and mastered the contractibility rate for all types of material. Mould dimension will be zoomed with same proportion as per different material.
2.Mold shaping
A sand mold is formed by packing sand into each half of the mold. The sand is packed around the pattern, which is a replica of the external shape of the casting.
3.Sand Core Making
The cores are positioned and the mold halves are closed and securely clamped together.
4. Pattern Assembly
The patterns are assembled together to form a casting cluster or assembly.

13.Quality Inspection Quality inspectionon the machining dimension. Mainly tools we use is like specialized gauge and callipers, mircocalliper,three-dimensional and so on.
