Ce rapport sur l'efficacité de l'usage des ressources dans l'Union européenne examine les approches nationales, les indicateurs, les cibles et les outils mis en place par 31 Etats membres de l'Union européenne ou coopérant au réseau de l'Agence européenne de l'environnement (AEE). Cette synthèse des politiques nationales doit aider à l'élaboration des futures politiques communautaires. L'AEE présente de nombreux exemples puisés dans les profils nationaux des 31 pays et salue notamment la France, jugée exemplaire pour ses mesures en matière d'affichage environnemental.
