The HP BladeSystem p Class solution consists of server blades, server bl ade enclosures, network
interconnect options, a power su bsystem, and management tools that enable adaptive computing and
is optimized for rapid deployment. HP BladeSyst em server blades are designed for the high
performance and high availability that you have come to expect fr om HP ProLiant industry standard
servers. The HP BladeSystem solution protects your investment with a modular portfolio that supports
many different environments and workloads including:
• ProLiant BL20p and BL25p Server Blades—Ideal fo r multi tiered enterprise data centers. The
ProLiant BL20p and BL25p Server Blades fe ature a dual processor capable design, high
performance memory, an integrated SmartArray RA ID controller, Universal hotplug SCSI hard
drives, Integrated Lights Out (iLO) Advanced func tionality, up to four general purpose Gigabit
Ethernet network controllers, and option al Fibre Channel (FC) SAN connectivity.
• ProLiant BL30p and BL35p Server Blades— Ideal for high performance te chnical computing and
enterprise datacenter environments that use ex ternal storage. The Pr oLiant BL30p and BL35p
