CS 110 – Introduction to Information Technology Assignment 5 – Microsoft Access Part II Due Date: 5 pm, Friday, November 18 The purpose of this assignment is to continue to help you to develop a deeper understanding of modern database theory and practice. You will once again use Microsoft Access as an accessible tool for this purpose. The same ideas would apply to Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or to any otherrelationaldatabase management system, although the details of usage would of course differ. By the end of this assignment you will be familiar with importing data into relations, multitable joins, and the use of queries to “drill down” specific items in a database. The basic idea in this assignment is to use a somewhat more realistic schema for an order entry system, and to use some more of the important capabilities of Access.
