Pardon my youthfulness. I was looking for a friendly bit of "chit-chat" on

subjects that may vary, depending on what people feel like talking about.

I've always been charmed by the existence of the group `misc.misc'.

Having never subscribed, I'm afraid I have no idea whether it gets any

posts, or indeed what such posts would be about (pretty much anything, I

would guess!).
