The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and the Federal Highway Administration, as lead federal agency, are initiating an engineering and environmental study to develop a longrange plan for the I17 corridor beginning at the SR 179 traffic interchange at milepost (MP) 299 and ending at MP 340 near the I40 traffic interchange. A series of improvements will be developed to provide for greater capacity and to ensure smooth operations for the traffic volumes that are projected to occur over the next 20 to 30 years in the study area.

We are just beginning the project and would appreciate your comments, which will help guide our studies during the environmental and design processes.
