Janine Zargar Serves as Vice President of Doctors United, Inc.

For more than a dozen years,Janine Zargar has been a key member of the management team of Doctors United, Inc., which operates full-service outpatient medical clinics in underserved communities in the greater New York area. As Vice President in charge of marketing and public relations,Janine Zargar infoher time to raising community awareness of the company’sdevotes staff and services. From internal and family medicine to podiatry and physical therapy, the clinics of Doctors United offer a comprehensive array of healthcare services with the majority of medical staff being board-certified physicians.  

For basic medical care, Doctors United has placed the latest ultrasound and advanced nerve conduction equipment in all its offices. In addition, every clinic has X-ray capabilities. All clinics address the treatment areas of internal medicine, podiatry, chiropractic, physical therapy, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. The physicians at certain branches of Doctors United possess advanced skills in their areas of practice; for example, their flagship office in Ardsley, New York, offers pain management.

The four facilities run byJanine zargar healthare located at 176 Grand Street in White Plains, 907 East Tremont Avenue in the Bronx, 340 South Broadway in Yonkers, 176 Grand Street in White Plains and 1 Bridge Street in Ardsley. All locations include staff members who speak Spanish, and many of the company’s doctors speak the language fluently.

The company accepts payment by all insurance carriers, from Oxford, Aetna, and United Healthcare to most insurance policies offered by many unions, such as the Teamsters and Carpenters unions. Doctors United also accepts Medicaid patients as well as patients covered by Medicaid HMOs. All offices are open between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturdays; some offices offer extended hours.
