Introduction ACLASTA 5 mg, solution for infusion B/1 bottle of 100 ml (CIP code: 365 871-1) Posted on Jun 28 2012 Active substance (DCI) zoledronic acid monohydrate Rhumatologie - Nouvelle indication Pas d’avantage clinique démontré dans l’ostéoporose cortisonique par rapport à l’acide risédronique par voie orale ACLASTA est un bisphosphonate administré une fois par an en perfusion IV.Sa nouvelle indication est le traitement de l’ostéoporose associée à une corticothérapie au long cours par voie générale chez les femmes ménopausées et les hommes à risque élevé de fracture.Dans cette nouvelle indication, il n’a pas démontré d’avantage clinique par rapport à l’acide risédronique. L’acide zolédronique, comme l’acide risédronique, n’a pas démontré d’efficacité antifracturaire dans cette indication.
