C  G U I D E L I N E P R A C T I C EL I N I C A L – Q  G U I D E R E F E R E N C EU I C K 1     Managing chronic painful shoulder without instability in adults   Scope Extra-articular disorders of the shoulder, ie all types of chronic degenerative or calcific tendinitis affecting the rotator cuff. Exclusions: instability, extraregional disorders, local neurogenic and acromioclavicular disorders, mechanical, inflammatory or infectious glenohumeral joint disorders, and adhesive capsulitis.
