ENTRY FEE:
$100.00 (US funds)
which includes a $3.50 AKC Fee
Fees must accompany all entries.
Make checks or money orders payable to CDTA.

No Fax or Email entries will be accepted.
A $20 fee will be charged for any returned check.
THIS CLUB DOES NOT AGREE TO ARBITRATE CLAIMS AS SET FORTH ON
THE OFFICIAL AKC ENTRY FORM FOR THIS EVENT.
ENTRANTS are responsible for errors in entry forms, regardless of who may make such errors.
A DRAWING FOR PARTICIPANTS
will be held on August 12, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Canyon
Creek Farm, 4867 Everson-Goshen Rd., Bellingham, to determine which entries will participate in
the test.
The drawing will be random among those entries received, except that preference will
be given to those dogs which have not previously earned a VST title.
All persons submitting
entries are invited to attend the drawing.
When the advertised limit has been drawn, an
ALTERNATE LIST
will be drawn subject to the
same preferences set forth above.
The alternates will be advised of their positions on the
alternate list and given an opportunity to be at the test site in case of absent dogs.
Alternate
entry fees will be refunded unless the alternate actually participates in the test.
Entry fees will
also be refunded to any confirmed entry that does not participate in the test, provided that the
Test Secretary is notified prior to the day of the test and provided that an alternate entry
participates in the test as a result of the withdrawal.
All entrants will be notified of the results of the draw
by written acknowledgement.
Should an
acknowledgement not be received by the exhibitor within a reasonable time, please notify the
Test Secretary by phone at (604) 207-4763.
THE TRACKING TEST SITES ("Sites") will open at 7:00 a.m., August 22, 2010.
Refreshments will be furnished.
The DRAWING FOR THE ORDER FOR THE RUNNING OF VST TRACKS will be at 8:00 a.m
.
at WWU, “C” Parking Lot, Bill Mc Donald Parkway
(see directions below)
on Sunday, August
22, 2010.
The first track will be run as soon thereafter as it has aged the proper length of time.
In
the event of any absentee(s) among the confirmed entries, the next alternate, in catalog order,
who is present, will be allowed to fill the vacancy.
BITCHES IN SEASON
may participate.
The Test Secretary must be notified that a bitch is in
season prior to the drawing for tracks.
The dog will be given the last track and will not be allowed
in the tracking area until just prior to running her track.
In the case of more than one bitch in
season at the test, a second draw for the last tracks will be held immediately after the first draw.
By their presence at the Sites, all exhibitors and spectators agree to abide by AKC Rules
and Regulations and to follow the instructions of the Tracking Test Committee and
Judges.
While all care will be taken to insure the safety of both people and dogs, the Chuckanut
Dog Training Association, Inc., the Tracking Test Committee, the landowners, their employees
and their agents assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury to any dog, person, or
property on the Sites or loss, damage or injury to any dog, person, or property traveling to or from
the Sites.
ALL DOGS WILL BE KEPT ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES IN ANY AREA OF THE VST SITES
.
Dogs not actually participating will go where instructed.
Owners are responsible for picking up
after their dogs and for keeping the Sites clean.
AWARDS: A green rosette and a plaque with the dog’s track will be offered to all dogs
passing this VST test.
Refreshments will be furnished on the morning of the test.
A no host lunch will be held following
the tests, at which AWARDS will be presented to dogs passing the VST test.

Western Washington University – “C” Parking Lot – Bill McDonald Parkway
From Interstate 5, take EXIT 252 (Samish Way / WWU).
Follow WWU directional signs to Bill McDonald Parkway.
Turn LEFT on Bill McDonald Parkway.
Bill McDonald Parkway goes up a hill, then down, then up again.
At top of
second hill, stay on Bill McDonald Parkway through stop light (curves to right).
Look for “CDTA VST” signs on
LEFT side
directing you to the “C” Lot parking
and draw site.
(“C” Lot is on both sides of the street – we are on the LEFT!)
Directions to Whatcom Community College from WWU:
Return to Interstate 5 via Bill McDonald Parkway.
Follow signs to I-5 North.
Take EXIT 258 (Bakerview Road).
Turn RIGHT on Bakerview Road.
Turn LEFT on Cordata Parkway.
Turn LEFT on Stuart Road.
Turn LEFT into WCC parking lot. Look for “CDTA VST” signs.
Please provide shade and water for your dog.
Cancellation of Event may occur due to extreme hazardous weather conditions
as determined by the Tracking Committee and Judges.
MOTELS IN THE AREA THAT HAVE ACCEPTED WELL-BEHAVED DOGS IN THE PAST.
NUMBER OF ROOMS MAY BE LIMITED – PET FEES MAY BE CHARGED.
PET POLICIES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
