over the number Hsted in thevolume for
1917. This is the largest addition to the
membership that has ever occurred in
the period of one year. The profes-
sional records of these new members
have all complied with the extraordi-
narily high requirements of the revised
constitution and every member will take
pride in the professional strength and
increased power for service which has
thus accrued to the organization.
The number of changed addresses in
the present Year Book is about twice as
great as usual, owing to the war condi-
tions. Members in every part of the
country arc entering the service or en-
