These works are presented to all who care to read and feel all the emotions that are concealed and unspoken. Lady Melody wrote this in hope that people will find healing, hope and help with the ups and downs that come from the rare and true love. Lady Melody is a beautiful woman revealing herself through the lights and darks of being in love and the loneliness that goes with the loss of love. She speaks of the ups and downs and deep emotions most can’t acknowledge. She hopes to help people deal with the loss and rebuild… to find strength in knowing they are not alone. She gives the impression of one who has been here in another life and time. Her works remind me of romantic poets like Burns and Byron. The haunting and mystical qualities of the poets’ thoughts are seductive, inviting, yet filled with the loneliness of love denied. I see a very complex woman, mystical, close to earth and elements and immersed in the physical world of today. The intensity and expression allow you to ‘feel her breath on your skin’ and ‘hear her heartbeat’. The tragedy, of unfulfilled love and its sincerity of love offered, is moving and extracts empathy from your soul. Sharing makes the loneliness less isolating and the poems are submitted for interpretation and appreciation by all of those who know this path.
Most would not reveal this private and passionate insight into their heart, their soul. Being her third book, it is offered to help heal and fill the void that exists when love offered is not reciprocated. Lady Melody Clancy is a distinguished lifetime member of the International Society of Poets (ISP). She has been published since 1996. Ordained, a minister in 1996, Lady Clancy is a Shaman, Life Coach and a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
