Description

Is the world really colored or do our eyes deceive us. is it true that "Perception is Reality" Marchall McLuhan
This story and other like it are the outcome of a game my four daughters and I used to play when they were quite young. Three would chose a random object or item and the fourth would make up a story about them, after about 5 minutes every body would contribute with the only proviso that it had to be positive. This created an atmosphere conducive to creative thinking. This story started out with the three objects-swimming pool, witches and a rainbow.

Introduction
These stories are the outcome of a game my four daughters (Allira, Chivonne, Taniele and Keesja) and I used to play. For about an hour some evenings, we would make up stories based on three objects randomly chosen. Three daughters would choose an object and the fourth would make up a three-minute story about them. After the first three minutes, any person in the group could add details or comments to develop the story. Only positive comments were allowed. Sometimes the stories were wrapped up on the day they started but others went on for days and sometimes weeks, with these Story, each session’s twists and turns added to the Story, and the characters became multi-dimensional. The purpose was to develop the girls’ creative, and lateral thinking abilities. The game did develop some great stories such as the following story. The three objects for the following story were: a swimming pool, some witches and a rainbow.

Chapter One
A long, long time ago, before seasons were Invented, and sleeping at night was not a common thing, there was a little country named Imagon. Nobody seem to know where it was located. Some thought it was East and West of the Rocky Mountains in Canada, others believed it was North and South of the Blue Mountains in Australia, and there was a group that believed it was in the desert in Peru where it had never rained in recorded history and houses did not have, nor need a roof. The only thing everybody knew, was that people and other intelligent species could only get there if they had imagination or dreams.
Now in all Imagon, Ketachai was the only place where any sentient creatures lived. The rest of the known land was barren and cold and inhabited by ferocious rock-eating monsters and wild fire-breathing dragons. No one knew what was on the other side of the Glassy Mountains, as there was no one who had enough imagination to cross them. To cross them, would be a massive feat of Imagination, and no resident of Ketachal had enough on their own.
In Ketachai, which was the only “city” in Imagon, there lived thousands of insects and hundreds of animals as well as the greatest assortment of half -domesticated witches, elves, fairies, goblins, and spooks.
There are many stories told of the adventures of the citizens of Imagon, for over the ages, they learned to understand and control the many forces that influenced them and their environment. The citizens of Imagon put their many differences aside to work together to try to turn our world into a peaceful one. Even today these magical citizens are still at work trying to create a peaceful utopian world for all, but even with all the magic in the world they still need the help of everyone, magical or not, for this dream to become a reality.
Imagine yourself walking through the wandering streets of Ketachal, everywhere goblins and witches were cooking their potions and screeching their incantations. There lived in Ketachai many representatives of alleged mystic creatures such as fairy godmothers, honest intelligent politicians, honourable soldiers and knights, fairies, goblins, spooks and dragons each working on changing the world into their image of paradise. Walking through the town, the second thing you noticed was the greyness of it all. There were dark grey pavement, light grey houses, grey skies, grey flowers, and even grey people. There might have been 1001 shades of grey but they were all Still grey. If you think grey sunsets are boring think of drinking grey drinks of water or tea .
