Introduction
On The Buses is a sitcom that has always divided opinion but is still remembered with great fondness today more than 40 years since it first aired on British television. Its non-PC humour laced with saucy double entendres was frowned upon by some, branded sexist by others and loved by many. Hitting our screens for the first time in 1969 the London Weekend Television production was to run for seven series until 1973 and also spawned three successful spin-off films and a spin-off series before being assigned to television history.
However, even today On The Buses continues to reach a new generation of fans attracted by its innuendo and a brand of humour frowned upon by the upper echelons of television nowadays. Well now with this quiz book you can enjoy more debates and clashes of opinion but can you prove yourself to be the master of On The Buses knowledge?
This book will test you on all aspects of On The Buses . There are a thousand questions on the great comedy phenomenon from cast members to characters and from crew members to filming locations and more. Does your knowledge of On The Buses leave you smart enough to make the grade as inspector or will you be dim like all bus drivers are according to Inspector Blake. Take the challenge but beware as there are plenty of tricky questions to negotiate. Best of luck and enjoy.
