The title of this book “Black Girls Lives Matter Too!!” is derived from personal experiences. Valerie and her daughter continue to be affected by the challenges and harmfulness that confronts them. Valerie’s daughter wants you to know that she was adopted as an infant and her parents are magnificent parents! Even with a great upbringing with both Christian parents in their home, she faces many challenges in this life. It causes both to be in unfamiliar places and having ongoing therapy. Even though in some black communities there is a sigma about trusting therapists with your personal business, so far, it’s been a positive experience for them. Furthermore, they believe strongly when all else fails, “Jesus never fails, He is always there to bring healing.” You can open your heart to Him today. Romans 10:9-13CSB

Without my dearest parents, The Late Mr. Mrs. Nathaniel Elizabeth Davis, this book would not have made its way to the bookstores. I’m forever grateful for their support and their example of love and spiritual guidance. It was an honor and privilege to care for the both of them. Happy Hallelujah to my parents whose in Heaven with each other, and it’s more gratifying being with Jesus Christ Lord of all!
Dear Reader,
In writing this book, I find the most awareness is that my Savior has provided us with much light and strength, even in the darkness that keeps lurking our way. I know without a doubt that my Savior has a plan for our life. No matter what it looks like I believe my Savior will never leave us nor will He forsake us. Don’t get me wrong, there were times I thought my Savior was not hearing my prayers. However my faith has sustained me because I truly believe the word of God is true. I wait patiently on my Savior for His divine answer, which can be instant or years. He has prepared everything for His purpose.
He has also created abundant resources and we are taking advantage of them.
