With effect from the1st November 2012Ark Continuity Limited (Ark), a UK company specialising in the design, construction and operation of high-integrity data centres, is pleased to announce key new appointments that enhance its leadership team and board of directors:

Huw Owen takes up the position of Chief Executive O fficer. Huw was previously President, Global Healthcare at BT, and prior to that he was CEO of the ATLAS Consortium before becoming Regional Vice President and Managing Director of HP ES Defence & Security Ltd. A lawyer by training, he moved from the City to Electronic Data Systems (acquired by HP) where he completed several UK and International assignments latterly as Vice President responsible for all new business start-ups of$100Mor more across EMEA.

Steve Hall is appointed as Sales Director reporting to Huw Owen. Steve was previously UK Public Sector Sales Director at HP. A former Naval Officer with an Aeronautical Engineering degree, Steve held several senior operational roles in the IT industry before focussing on Sales.

The Right Honourable Baroness Manningham-Buller, DC B, life peer in the House of Lords and former Director General of the Security Service (MI5) and Brian Fitzpatrick, CEO of ACN Europe BV are appointed non-Executive Directors.

Jeffrey Thomas (formerly CEO) will become Non-Executive Chairman. Steve Webb will remain Ark's Chief Operating Officer now reporting to Huw Owen.
