Auto Trader's Goodwood APP Puts the AR into Racing PR Newswire LONDON, June 11, 2012 LONDON, June 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Auto Trader, sponsors of the Goodwood Moving Motor Show, have built and just launched the first ever official Goodwood Festival of Speed mobile app for this year's event. The free-to-download app has a UK first augmented reality racing game featuring the iconic Goodwood hill climb, and also enables visitors to enjoy unprecedented levels of functionality whilst attending the festival. To increase the excitement around the game and to celebrate 35 years of Auto Trader heritage visitors will have the chance to win an Alfa MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde at the Auto Trader stand. A user can practise and play against their friends before and during the event, but in order to compete and have a chance of winning the brand new car they have to play the augmented reality racing game at the specifically assigned track on the Auto Trader stand. To play the racing game, wannabe champions simply need to open the Auto Trader Challenge racing game within the Goodwood app and place the camera over the Auto Trader magazine or the #ATchallenge gameboard. With several players chomping at the bit for the perfect racing line, bumping your opponent off course with a friendly nudge becomes all too important.
