Peter Edelstein, M.D., has been appointed Chief Medical Officer, and Gerald Osband, M.D., has been appointed Director, Product Strategy. With board certifications from both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, Dr. Edelstein was in private practice before serving on the Surgical Faculty at Stanford University, focusing on gastrointestinal, oncologic, and trauma surgery. He then spent more than a decade as an executive in the Silicon Valley medical device industry. Before joining Elsevier/MEDai, Dr. Edelstein most recently served as a physician executive within the Adventist Health System.
