Frost & Sullivan Award Reinforces Acibadem Mobile Health Services's Growth Leadership Credentials
PR Newswire LONDON, Dec. 6, 2012
- Exceptional growth based on best-in-class services and astute market strategies
LONDON, Dec. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Based on its recent analysis of the mobile healthcare services market, Frost & Sullivan recognises Acibadem Mobile Health Services (AMHS) with the 2012 Pan European Growth Leadership Award. Through its offer of best-in-class treatment and services in the area of mobile health, AMHS has established itself as the fastest growing company in Europe.
The Turkey-based company has an extensive portfolio of high quality mobile health service offerings. It has broad capabilities in several areas such as medical coaching, emergency healthcare services (land and air am bulances), home care services, resident infirmary solutions, m obile healthcare screening, telemedicine and affinity programmes.
AMHS recorded the fastest growth among European mobile healthcare service providers between 2009 and 2012. Revenues grew at an impressive compound annual grow th rate (CAGR) from 2009 to 2011. The company is poised to continue on this upward trajectory, with revenues projected to double by the end of 2012.
"A well-defined strategy and effective management skills have enabled AMHS to achieve such notable growth in this emerging market," noted Frost & Sullivan Healthcare Program Manager Eramangalath Sujith. "At the heart of the company's success are effective financial management and marketing campaigns, backed by best-in-class services."
The company's extremely successful business model is based on membership. A highly proficient call center and sales team has been fundamental to AMHS having thousands of individual and over hundred thousands of corporate members.
From initially being in-house, the company changed its business model, outsourcing its call center sales services to Call Center Hotel (CCH) in 2010. In this model, AMH S uses the facilities of CCH, but retains its own sales team. Following the call center transfer, the company's m onthly call volume increased visibly.
"This business model provides excellent flexibility for AMHS; it has enabled the company to save on infrastructure investment and focus on its core medical business even while offering its patients the benefits of the most current call center technology," commented Sujith. "AMHS's medical call center team currently provides high quality emergency and coaching services to more than a thousand of people every day."
A best-in-class service approach has also been key to the company's growth. As a subsidy of the Acibadem Healthcare Group (AHG), AMHS shares its vision of offering superior services and equipment infrastructure and the expertise of top-notch medical personnel. In 2008, AMHS became the first mobile healthcare services provider in Turkey to obtain a ISO 9001:2008 quality management certificate, both in emergency and home care services.
Effective marketing campaigns and co-operation with telecom companies has helped AMHS expand its footprint. The company collaborates with other firms, especially with telecom companies, for its corporate marketing activities.
"AMHS is adding significant value to banks, telecom munication and retail companies with their special mobile health projects," stated Sujith. "AMHS has collaborated with Turkey's leading communication brands like Türk Telekom, Avea and Turkcell to mutual benefit. For example, as a result of one such collaboration with Turk Telecom, AMHS gave medical coaching services to over hundred thousand people via its call center."
The Frost & Sullivan Award for Growth Leadership is presented to the company that has demonstrated excellence in capturing the highest annual compound growth rate for the last 3 years.
