MOUNTAIN VIEW, California, Oct. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Frost & Sullivan announced joining forces with Manufacturing Executive to recognize best in class manufacturers around the world.   The 2012 Manufacturing Leadership (ML) 100 program recipients are recognized for their best practices achievements in quality, operational excellence, customer value enhancement, as well as other categories.

The Manufacturing Leadership 100 Awards honor companies and individuals that are shaping the future of global manufacturing. Award nominees and their technology partners describe their breakthrough projects using a nomination form. A panel of expert judges select the Manufacturing Leadership 100 Award recipients, who will be honored at the 2013 Manufacturing Leadership Summit on May 15 at the Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Fla. Past ML100 Award winners include Boeing, Eaton, General Motors, Ford, Lockheed Martin, and Porsche.

Also today, Frost & Sullivan announced the start of the 2013 search for the world's best manufacturing companies. Manufacturers, vendors, consultants, and their customers are encouraged to demonstrate their world class, breakthrough processes and projects by submitting nominations for the 2013 ML100 Awards. Manufacturers may submit their transformative projects in seven categories. The deadline for submitting 2013 ML100 Award nominations is Nov. 20
