LONDON,August 24, 2012/PRNewswire/ -- Jaguar dealers are the best inBritain, and Land Rover dealers are not far behind them in terms of delivering customer satisfaction - that's the official verdict of the JD Power Dealer Satisfaction Survey, published today byWhat Car?magazine. Jaguar's UK dealer network came top in the survey by a clear margin, with an 86.1% score and a five-star rating. Land Rover placed seventh with four stars and 80.0%. The industry average score was 78.5%. The news comes hot on the heels of Jaguar's recent wins in the J.D. Power and Associates/What Car? 2012 UK Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study - with the XF taking the 'Executive Car of the Year' title and Jaguar being named as the number one manufacturer. "Proving that satisfaction is about more than just a brand, Jaguar owners rated their dealers' service a cut above," saidWhat Car?editor-in-chief Chas Hallett. "They have the most friendly, helpful staff; the cleanest, most comfortable facilities; and the highest quality of workmanship, according to customers." The survey, which is based on JD Power's 2012 UK vehicle ownership satisfaction study, collated results from nearly 15,000 customers who had taken their car for service within the previous year. Areas of focus included how easy it was to make a service appointment, staff courtesy, convenience, punctuality and quality of work.
