Short film brings music to the ears of Ireland's Youth

On November 28th, StubHub and the Musical Youth Foundation will premiere a short film to bring one boy's story to life. It is about Daryl Ward, aged 16, a student who has been learning guitar with the Musical Youth Foundation for more than three years. The benefits for him have been increased engagement with education and going on to teach other children how to play guitar with aspirations to teach full time when he leaves school.

Anniversary concert

As part of its fourth anniversary, the Musical Youth Foundation will host a fundraising concert at the Button Factory in Temple Bar featuring festival favourites The Barley Mob and The Bionic Rats on Friday, November 29th. Tickets for this vital fundraising event are just €10 and available from http://www.musicalyouthfoundation.org, http://www.entertainment.ie and on the night from the Button Factory Box Office.

"The Musical Youth Foundation has played a major role in helping bring musical education to students who would not always be able to access such services," said Councillor Maria Parodi, representing the Lord Mayor of Dublin. "Musical education can deliver major benefits to students both in their academic and personal lives. We applaud the achievements of the Musical Youth Foundation and wish it continued success."

About StubHub

StubHub is a ticket marketplace that connects buyers to sellers; however, unlike current UK competitors, the company does not buy or sell tickets itself or charge fans additional booking fees at the point of purchase - a first for the industry.

StubHub, which launched in the US in 2000, consistently holds the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the entire ticketing industry, and boasts one of the highest scores in all of e-commerce. Every purchase made through the site is backed by StubHub's FanProtect™ Guarantee, which guards against fraud and ensures that buyers get what they pay for.

StubHub offers a full suite of mobile applications, and opened the first-ever central London retail outlet for fans to buy, pick up or drop off their tickets on Great Portland Street last year. Additional pop-up locations are also planned across the country. These will be conveniently located close to major venues, meaning fans will never have to worry about getting in at the last minute.

The company also has a Dublin-based call centre, open from 09:00 - 21:00, seven days a week, to handle any and all customer queries (08003588585).
