XMS, the mobile messaging platform from the makers of eBuddy, today announced an update to their web messaging companion Web XMS. Instead of having to rely on a Facebook account to login, Web XMS now provides all its users the ease to log in with their phone number.
XMS is a free, real-time messaging app for smartphones. It allows for unlimited messaging through one's internet connection. Users can message any way they want with pictures, video, emoticons, location and more.
Web XMSallows users to send and receive all their XMS's from any desktop browser. To be able to use Web XMS, all users need to do is have the XMS app installed on their phone. This feature sets XMS apart from other mobile messengers.
To start usingWeb XMS, user first should go to the website, enter their phone number and press "Continue". Immediately, a login code is sent to the XMS app. To login in to XMS, the user just needs to enter the code on the computer and press "Login to XMS".
The new update on Web XMS will increase user convenience and help enlarge the universe of people who could log into XMS.
XMS is currently available for iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Nokia s40, Nokia s60 and Windows Phone 7 devices. eBuddy's Chat and XMS products amount to more than 30 million monthly active users, sending over 17 billion messages per month. eBuddy Chat and XMS are used by over 4.5 million Indians every month.
