The awards ceremony was part of Cisco's annual Supplier Appreciation event hosted by Cisco Manufacturing.

In 2007, Cisco decided to consolidate its globally fragmented multi-vendor service chain with Teleplan as a dedicated after-market service partner. Since then, Teleplan has supported Cisco's global reverse logistics service programme in Roseville (U.S.), Hong Kong (APAC) and Zoetermeer (the Netherlands) for the EMEA region.
