TheFrankfurt-based Steigenberger Hotel Group will be addingAmsterdamto its list of locations. At the beginning ofSeptember 2012the company takes over a Four Star Superior Hotel boasting 440 rooms at Schiphol International Airport.

Steigenberger is just about to check in at Schiphol International Airport in Amsterdam. TheFrankfurt-based hotel company will be acquiring representation at a further international airport by taking over the former Dorint Hotel Amsterdam-Airport with effect from1 September 2012and thus adding to the presence it already enjoys at Frankfurt Main Airport. A further Steigenberger Airport Hotel will be opening next year at the new airport in Berlin. The elegant Four Star Superior Hotel at Schiphol, the fourth largest airport in Europe, will have 440 rooms including ten luxury suites, one executive suite, three restaurants, a Coffee and Wine Lounge, a Sports and Media Bar, an 800 m² gym and health spa area featuring a pool, an interior courtyard with a garden and terrace and comprehensive conferencing facilities extending over an area of 960 m². The Steigenberger Airport Hotel Amsterdam is located near to the Forest ofAmsterdamand offers excellent transport links to the city centre, which is only ten minutes away by car.
