Description
The publication of a portrait from the Saint-Raymond Museum in Toulouse, found at Chiragan (Martres-Tolosane) and identified as Antonia Minor, allows a comparison with others of the type, enriched with the iconography of this princess of the time of Julius and Claudius. It leads to reconsider all the imperial portraits of Chiragan : the head of Antonia Minor originally represented in bust belongs to a series of at least three Julian-Claudian busts, dating back to the time of Julius and Claudius.
